Saturday Flea Market

After a lovely first Friday at my internship at the Kunstgewerbemuseum, I had time to relax and check out the famous flea markets that adorn the streets every weekend in Berlin. I took my bike and rode to a smaller market in Kreuzberg, arguably the coolest neighborhood in the city. At this flea market one can find street performers, well-priced vintage goods, and taxidermy squirrels in lederhosen. Sadly I don't have photographic proof of said stuffed squirrel, because taking pictures of the merch was verboten and I got scared when the tattooed vendor yelled at me. So, you'll just have to believe me.

Lamp and Stuffed Animal Booth...our friend the stuffed squirrel is hiding in there somewhere....

Who needs a smoke break? This vendor smokes as she works.
